Alishia Jacks Earns Prestigious Academic Award at Illinois College

Alishia Jacks of Madison was among the students at Illinois College recognized for academic excellence April 27 when the liberal arts college held its annual Honors Day Celebration.

Jacks, a junior, was awarded the Dr. Robert R. and Beatrice H. Hartman Scholarship. This scholarship is presented to a worthy senior student majoring in pre-medicine.

Jacks, a graduate of Madison High School, is the daughter of Lisa Jacks of Madison.
