Allison Green Earns Prestigious Academic Award at Illinois College

Allison Green of Chatham was among the students at Illinois College recognized for academic excellence April 27 when the liberal arts college held its annual Honors Day Celebration.

Green, a junior, was awarded the Roscoe G. Linder Scholarship in Education and inducted into Kappa Delta Pi. the Roscoe G. Linder Scholarship in Education is awarded to a junior education major preparing to become a teacher. Kappa Delta Pi is the education national honor society.

Green, a graduate of Glenwood High School, is the daughter of Mark Green of Chatham and Shirley Green of Springfield.
