Bradley Shawgo Earns Prestigious Academic Award at Illinois College

Bradley Shawgo of Astoria was among the students at Illinois College recognized for academic excellence April 27 when the liberal arts college held its annual Honors Day Celebration.

Shawgo, a graduate, was awarded the William Jennings Bryan Professional Promise Award. This award is presented to the senior(s) who has demonstrated extraordinary potential for integrating professional excellence, active citizenship and servant leadership.

Shawgo, a graduate of Astoria High School, is the son of Jeffrey and Sonya Shawgo of Asotria.
