Brant Bess Awarded Legacy Scholarship

Brant Bess of Pittsfield was awarded the Legacy Scholarship at Illinois College. Bess is a gradute of Pittsfield High School and will be a first-year student at Illinois College this fall.

The Illinois College Alumni Association established the Legacy Scholarship in 2011 to encourage and support those children of alumni to enroll and continue their education at Illinois College so as to build the family legacy on the Hilltop.

Founded in 1829, Illinois College is a residential liberal arts college fostering academic excellence rooted in opportunities for experiential learning while preparing students for lifelong success.
