David Johnson Earns Prestigious Academic Award at Illinois College

David Johnson of Virden was among the students at Illinois College recognized for academic excellence April 27 when the liberal arts college held its annual Honors Day Celebration.

Johnson, a junior, was inducted into Psi Chi. Psi Chi is the psychology national honors society.

Johnson, a graduate of Virden High School, is the son of Andrew and Rebecca Johnson of Virden.

Founded in 1829, Illinois College is a residential liberal arts college fostering academic excellence rooted in opportunities for experiential learning while preparing students for lifelong success.
