DeCarlo Logan Earns Prestigious Academic Award at Illinois College

DeCarlo Logan of Alton was among the students at Illinois College recognized for academic excellence April 27 when the liberal arts college held its annual Honors Day Celebration.

Logan, a junior, was awarded the Carlson-Damsgaard Family Award in Art and the Mary Capps and Samuel N. Osborne Memorial Scholarship. The Carlson Damsgaard Family Award in Art is awarded to a junior in the visual arts program. The Mary Capps and Samuel N. Osborne Memorial Scholarship is awarded to a student entering the junior year with the intention of majoring in art.

Logan, a graduate of Alton High School, is the son of Stephanie Logan of Alton.
