Freeport Resident, Melissa Mennenga, Selected as Hall Director at Illinois College

Melissa Mennenga of Freeport has been chosen to serve on the residence life staff as a hall director at Illinois College for the 2012-2013 academic year.

Mennenga, a communication and rhetorical studies, and management and organizational leadership major, graduated from Daokta Junior-Senior High School and is the daughter of Dale and Sandra Mennenga of Freeport.

Hall directors, or HD's, serve the college in many capacities: as peer advisers for residents, residence hall oversight, and liaisons between the students and administration. HD's are responsible for supervising RA's and helping create an environment that promotes positive academic and social experiences.
