Jacob Tilton Earns Prestigious Academic Award at Illinois College

Jacob Tilton of South Chicago Heights was among the students at Illinois College recognized for academic excellence April 27 when the liberal arts college held its annual Honors Day Celebration.

Tilton, a graduate, was inducted into Delta Mu Delta. Delta Mu Delta is the national honor society in business.

Tilton, a graduate of Bloom-Trail High School, is the son of Robert and Sheryl Titlton of South Chicago Heights.

Founded in 1829, Illinois College is a residential liberal arts college fostering academic excellence rooted in opportunities for experiential learning while preparing students for lifelong success.
