Kara Shafer Selected as Resident Assistant at Illinois College

Kara Shafer of Springfield has been chosen to serve on the residence life staff at Illinois College for the 2012-2013 academic year,

Shafer graduated from Glenwood Senior High School and is the daughter of Williams and Patricia Shafer of Springfield.

Resident assistants, or RA's, serve the college in many capacities: as peer advisers for new residents, coordinators of residential life, and liaisons between the students and administration. RA's are responsible for creating an environment that promotes positive academic and social experiences.
