Kelsey Frey Earns Prestigious Academic Award at Illinois College

Kelsey Frey of Pierron was among the students at Illinois College recognized for academic excellence April 27 when the liberal arts college held its annual Honors Day Celebration.

Frey, a junior, was awarded the Earle B. Miller Scholarship in Mathematics and inducted into Kappa Delta Pi. The Earle B. Miller Scholarship in Mathematics is awarded to a junior for outstanding achievement in mathematics. Kappa Delta Pi is the education national honor society.

Frey, a graduate of Highland High School, is the daughter of Steven and Sharon Frey of Pierron.
