Matthew Nelson as president of College Organization

Matthew Nelson, a first year of Springfield, is serving as president of the first-year class at Illinois College for the 2011-2012 academic year.

The Student Forum acts as a representative of the student body and works to promote the best interest of the students. The Forum proposes policy on campus and presents information to college administration and the Board of Trustees.

Nelson, a graduate of Glenwood High School, is the son of Gavin and Debbie O'Reilly of Springfield.
