Samantha Bettis Earns Prestigious Academic Award at Illinois College

Samantha Bettis of Jacksonville was among the students at Illinois College recognized for academic excellence April 27 when the liberal arts college held its annual Honors Day Celebration.

Bettis, a sophomore, was inducted into Psi Chi. Psi Chi is the psychology national honors society.

Bettis, a graduate of Jacksonville High School, is the daughter of David and Cynthia Bettis of Jacksonville.
