Sarah Siemer Earns Prestigious Academic Award at Illinois College

Sarah Siemer of Modesto was among the students at Illinois College recognized for academic excellence April 27 when the liberal arts college held its annual Honors Day Celebration.

Siemer, a graduate, was awarded Elma Shipe Savage Dixson Scholarship in English. This scholarship is awarded to a student majoring in English education.

Siemer, a graduate of Northwestern High School, is the daughter of William and Sherri Butcher of Roodhouse.
